Microsoft Project YJTJ™ Series Part 4 Online class

The Milestone Microsoft® Project YJTJ™ Series – Part 4 course is a 1-day, online instructor-led, hands-on class focused on Microsoft Project on the desktop. This course begins with a brief review of key items from Milestone’s Microsoft® Project YJTJ™ Series – Part 3 course, and then proceeds to add more skills in project tracking, variance analysis, and project reporting. During project tracking, multiple tracking methods will be used within a single project. During variance analysis, critical path will be discussed. This course completes the project lifecycle process by introducing the concepts of plan revision and project closure. By the completion of Milestone’s Microsoft® Project YJTJ™ Series – Part 4 course, students will be more advanced in their knowledge of Microsoft Project.

This course continues the prior courses’ objectives of providing students with a detailed understanding of the core foundation of Microsoft Project based on globally accepted Project Management Institute (PMI) principles for project management and proven Microsoft Project best practices. Students will learn best practices for tracking, analyzing variance, plan revision, and project closure by assuming the primary role of Project Manager.

The Microsoft Project 2010 release is more Office-like than its predecessors and offers many new features. The Milestone course incorporates these features and is designed for all levels of Microsoft Project experience.
